Hedge cutting

If you have ever had conifer hedging in your garden you will know how fast this hedge grows. Many only need a substantial trim every year during the growing season and you only ever trim the extra shoots.

The hedge pictured is approximately 30 metres in length and takes us around half a day to trim. We do this once a year using commercial hedge-cutters and a 12-foot ladder to reach the top. Once we have trimmed the sides of the hedge, we get to work on the top and we’re able to walk across the top of the hedge in order to complete this particular thick hedge.

GND trims hedges of all sizes and we make sure their shape is maintained and that they don’t grow over into public paths or neighbouring gardens.
